The stock rates in about Very Good Plus overall condition.įinish Originality: Original. The LOP measures 12 3/4 inches from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Some are deep and have removed surface wood. The stock shows other scrapes, scratches and compression marks. The left side of the grip is missing pieces of surface wood. The underside of the forearm is deeply scraped ahead of the barrel band and is missing two pieces of surface wood next to the nosecap. A metal tube and cleaning tools are stored in the butt. Stock Configuration & Condition: The two piece hardwood has a pistol grip, finger grooves, metal nosecap, stacking loop, barrel band, two sling loops, two through bolts and a metal buttplate with hinged door for storage. When flipped up separate notches and an aperture on the ladder can be used for sighting. The rear sight is a “U” notched blade attached to a fully adjustable sight ladder marked from “3-27”.
